THE ROLE OF YOUTH IN CURBING SOCIAL EVILS

 

It is aptly said that "the nation doesn't require a sword who's youth are awakened about self kept within." This verse penned down by great poet of the East,  holds a lot of importance .The youth being the most important part of society,  has a huge responsibility in moulding and shaping the society in totality and surely , the youth has time and again proved its mettle in different ages by achieving unimaginable feats of higher degrees, the trending terms of justice,  progress,  tolerance and dignity. The major changes in the world today have been possible only because of the efforts of its youth to all the generations that have fought against evils and stood up for their right against the wrong disputes including winning Nobel prizes to bending the houses of justice and democracy and flourishing in them.The youth have always revived the moral fabric of the society and also been critical of the same.In today's time, the world has been transformed into  a global village and the distances have been shortened by definite hours altogether. The tendency of social evils to escalate , become furiously infinite,  thereafter .One can today also justify the phobia of this abrupt escalation of evils and that too even is really justified because it is very easy for evil to move through a very connected network,  so my dear fellow citizens,  I urge you to handle the situation that is prevailing amongst us for our own good.We stand in the way of justice,  we stand in the way of reviving it, hence; we have the huge responsibility. The situation demands for each of the revolutionists, reformer and social activists including the students to stand up for themselves. It is said with slaying confidence that there can't be a better revolutionary than the person living in his youthful hours. Great men like Abraham Lincoln,  Ramanujan , and many other who have enlightened the world with their wisdom and determination usually did so in their youthful days .There might be exceptions but the truth stand loud and clear.During their youthful days a person is more passionate about the issues that engulf him and they dream high and energetically enough.

Dream! Dream ! Dreams transform into thoughts,  thoughts result into action. 
A happy world is only possible if there is peace in it .Hence,  the youth does need to step up their game and speak up for the right and ultimately achieve their goals .Let the freedom of practicing one's faith , expression and liberty reign from every corner of india.The most recent tussle regarding the freedom of speech and the right to have an opinion. Kanhaiya kumar a young leader from JNU exemplified himself for the young minds across the length and breadth of the world .The key is set a perfect target and have an action to reach the target impulsively. The topic can be concluded with another verse from Igniter of young minds "I will sweat out for my mission " Dr.Kalam.
So , be it and get ready for transforming  the world will make you live even after you die. You will really be remembered in eternity. For the contributions you have made towards your society,  so live to the fullest and live with pride
